Ingredients

  • 415g Melted Butter

  • 115g Whole milk

  • 1 Lemon Zest

  • 4g Vanilla extract

  • 375g Flour

  • 15g Baking Powder

  • 300g Sugar

  • 6 Whole Eggs

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 210°C (410°F). Prepare your cupcake molds by greasing them with soft butter and lightly dusting with flour.

Step 2

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, set aside to cool slightly.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, combine the milk, lemon zest, and vanilla extract. Set aside.

Step 4

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and sugar until well combined.

Step 5

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the mixing bowl with the eggs, stirring until just combined.

Step 6

Gradually pour in the milk mixture, stirring continuously until the batter is smooth and well incorporated.

Step 7

Slowly pour in the melted butter, stirring gently until fully combined and the batter is smooth.

Step 8

Spoon the batter into the prepared cupcake molds, filling each about two-thirds full.

Step 9

Bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes, or until the cupcakes are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 10

Once baked, remove the cupcakes from the oven and allow them to cool in the molds for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 11

Once cooled, you can enjoy these delightful Lemon Vanilla Cupcakes as is, or decorate them with your favorite frosting or glaze.

Step 12

Serve and enjoy your freshly baked cupcakes at your next gathering, paired perfectly with your favorite tableware and gathering linens!
